Take a virtual look behind historical facades

The new "BremenGo" app from WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH offers completely new and unusual insights into Bremen's sights.

With the new app "BremenGo", the exploration of Bremen's sights is enriched by the technology of augmented reality (AR). When visitors or locals point their smartphones at popular buildings and statues in the Hanseatic city around the market square, they can see additional details and views. The technology superimposes computer-generated images on what is seen. In this way, the user experiences a whole new interactive world and can directly enquire about the city on the Weser.
Currently, five different stations can be discovered directly on site during a tour with the app. For example, the user can see the robbers' hut from the fairytale at the Town Musicians. At the "Town Hall" station, the upper town hall can be entered and the Roland statue hides an interactive quiz.

In addition to the augmented reality elements, which can also be expanded and extended to other buildings in the future, the app also offers audio stories and photos as well as information about possible guided tours, round trips and package tours in Bremen, there is the fairy tale of the Bremen Town Musicians to listen to and videos. All content can be played in German as well as in English.
