On 9 June 2024, the 19th Gorch-Fock run will take place in Wilhelmshaven with over 1,500 runners. Participants can choose between four different distances. Children aged 6 and over can run a 1.5-kilometre short distance of the Sparda-Bank club and school run.

Kiel week is an annual sailing regatta that has been held in Kiel since the end of the 19th century. Attracting millions of people, it is one of the largest sailing events in the world. Founded in 1986, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival is one of the largest classical music festivals in the world. International artists will performe at impressive places. The focus of the concerts is on classical music, but other genres such as pop, jazz, electro, theatre, comedy and readings are also offered.

For the sixth time now, the fair for garden, living and lifestyle will be coming to Lübeck. Experience an exclusive sales exhibition with musical performances and culinary delights. The fair takes place from 23 to 25 February 2024 at the Kulturwerft Gollan music venue.
The "Comödie Lübeck" is the largest private theatre in Lübeck. With 170 seats and a special ambience, a programme worth seeing is offered here.

Since 1992, the famous Brahms Festival, at which lecturers and students of the Lübeck Academy of Music (MHL) perform together and reinterpret pieces by the composer Johannes Brahms (1833 – 1897), has taken place every year in spring. The world’s second-largest sailing event: Thousands of water sports enthusiasts will be descending on Travemünde to experience the unique combination of international sailing event and maritime celebration for themselves. The popular regatta was launched by the Hamburg merchants Hermann Wentzel and Hermann Dröge, who raced off the coast of Travemünde for a bet.

Mainly cultural and gastronomic establishments have settled on the north bank of the harbour, which form the so-called “Kreativkai”. Office buildings, a publishing house, the Wolfgang Borchert Theater Münster, restaurants and trendy clubs ensure that there is always a lot going on here around the clock.
One of the event highlights in Münster is the harbour festival, which takes place once a year. Concerts and sporting activities with a diverse children's and family program take place for three days.
The popular zoo in Münster owes its name to the covered "all-weather walkways" that protect against rain and sun. The entrance fee includes the walk-in animal houses, the BioCity, which is about species protection, and the Westphalian Horse Museum.
The park-like zoo area offers picnic places and kiosks, a lawn for sunbathing and beautiful playgrounds.
The zoo is located in the middle of the Aasee recreational area and can be easily reached by car, city bus or bicycle.
If you are planning a city trip to Münster, you should choose a Wednesday or Saturday. The famous weekly market at the cathedral takes place on these days.
