Top-class cycling and party at the ÖVB Arena: The perfect combination of sport and show. Cycling fans traditionally come to the ÖVB Arena shortly after the beginning of the year. At the Bremen Sixdays, the cyclists fight for lap victories – while the spectators get caught up in the speed rush and let themselves be entertained by the event programme.

Rhythm’n’Blues, only authentic with sun-glasses, hats, black suits, narrow ties and stoic expressions: After a terrific first season in the Stadttheater Bremerhaven, further performances will follow on 02.10., 25.11. and 30.12.2018 as well as on 11.01.2019, each at 7:30 p.m.
The Bremerhaven pedestrian zone shines in full splendour during Advent time. The Seaside City of Bremerhaven offers visitors to its annual Christmas market numerous stalls and stands in a Christmas outfit.
Be sure to save the date now. The exciting meeting of windjammers, sailors and landlubbers. For five whole days, everything will revolve around tall ships. A total of more than 270 ships with around 3,500 crew members will take part. Some 1.2 million visitors are expected at the quays and in the city.

From 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the southern beach in Wilhelmshaven will shine in a brand-new light with the help of LED objects. The beach will be punctuated with illuminated figures up to five metres high. Illuminated trees and buildings on the promenade complete the atmospheric evening mood. The light effects are complemented by a musical accompaniment and various events.
The 17th Wilhelmshaven Sailing-Cup – the oldest traditional sailing regatta on the German North Sea coast – will take place all around the Grosser Hafen (main harbour) from 28 to 30 September 2018. In addition, a colourful supporting programme awaits you on land. A wonderful outing for the whole family!

Don’t miss this! The DUCKSTEIN FESTIVAL returned to the Fjord in 2017 after a two-year break. This open-air event at Kiel Boat Harbour is themed “Art, Culture and Culinary Delights” and is regarded as a special edition that now takes on a distinctive character over five days.
The festival will be celebrating its premiere in the beautiful harbour of the Baltic seaside resort on the Kiel Fjord. For 4 days, visitors can board ships, dance to music, enjoy street food and revel in marvellous sunsets.
Experience Kiel from the sea: Trace the past and discover new perspectives of the city. The “Gorch Fock” and the Naval Memorial in Laboe tell of Kiel’s eventful naval history. Departure: Bahnhofsbrücken pier.

The NORDIC FILM DAYS LÜBECK take the 875-year anniversary of the Hanseatic city as an opportunity to bring together the film history and urban architecture of Lübeck in a unique programme series. Over the entire anniversary year, local films are spectacularly reinterpreted and presented in unusual locations.
A stroll around Lübeck Christmas market with its festive lights and magnificent historical scenery is one of the highlights of the run-up to Christmas in this Hanseatic city. Arts and crafts, toys and great gift ideas are available around Lübeck town hall and down to the Koberg as the scent of gingerbread, mulled wine and a wide range of other delicacies fills the air.
The city of Lübeck invites all citizens and tourists to join the event Lübeck Eiszauber 2019. For six weeks a big ice skating rink, food stands and wintery decorations in the city centre guarentee plenty of fun for the whole family. Ice skates can be borrowed for a rental fee of 3 Euros per hour.
