The solidarity weekend for local artists in cooperation with the Musikinitiative Wilhelmshaven e.V. On April 3rd and 4th, five local bands can be experienced on stage. Founded in 1986, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival is one of the largest classical music festivals in the world. From 3 July until 29 August 2021 international artists will performe at impressive places. On 04 September 2021, one of the largest sailing festivals in the world will begin again. Since 1992, the famous Brahms Festival, at which lecturers and students of the Lübeck Academy of Music (MHL) perform together and reinterpret pieces by the composer Johannes Brahms (1833 – 1897), has taken place every year in spring.
