Review management of the ATLANTIC Hotels

Use of Revinate reputation management software

The ATLANTIC Hotels work with the software of Revinate, Inc. to manage the reviews of the hotel guests.

Ratings from portals

All hotel ratings from a variety of public portals are combined into a rating average. More than 40 portals are taken into account as sources: including Expedia, Booking.com, Google, HolidayCheck, Hotel.de, Hotels.com, HRS.de and Tripadvisor.

So you can see at a glance how well a hotel is rated on a scale of 1 to 5 by guests who have stayed there.

  • Excellent (> 4,3)
  • Very good (> 4,0)
  • Good (> 3,7)
  • Satisfying (> 3,4)
  • Acceptable (< 3,3)

The ATLANTIC Hotels use this rating average on their hotel websites.

Ratings from internal surveys

In cooperation with Revinate, the hotel group has developed its own guest surveys. Due to the system, the ratings from the questionnaires are not yet included in the above-mentioned rating.

The detailed valuable guest feedback from the public portals as well as from the internal surveys is read and answered in the hotels. Optimally, the rating managers in the hotels can pass on praise to their colleagues or use constructive feedback in the respective hotel departments for improvements.

The recommendation rate in percent

The recommendation rate on the sub-pages Reviews is based on the completed recommendation question in the above mentioned guest surveys of the hotels "How likely would you recommend this hotel?" A value can be selected on a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 being the worst and 10 being the best. This feedback is categorised into positive (9-10), passive (7-8) and critical (0-6).

The recommendation rate is then calculated: number of positive responses minus number of critical responses / number of responses
