Wunderino Arena Kiel

What started with the conversion of an aircraft hangar to one of the largest multipurpose halls of the republic in 1951 is a North German success story: on a total surface area of 5000 sm, about 1.5 million people visit a myriad of different events every year.

International music stars have already visited Wunderino Arena Kiel for decades. Be it rock or pop, large-scale classic productions, opera or musicals - the multipurpose hall wows both artists and their fans with its special atmosphere. The Wunderino Arena Kiel has become well-known throughout Germany as a venue for the THW Kiel handball champions’ games. Apart from this, other major sporting events are also hosted here every year.

Wunderino Arena Kiel has developed into a major crowd puller and, already for decades, has provided a fixed venue in Schleswig-Holstein for international sporting and cultural events.
