DECK 8 – the bar in Kiel

Welcome to bar DECK 8!

One of the most beautiful bars in northern Germany, the bar DECK 8 offers magnificent views and the most delicious cocktails in town. We hope you enjoy the delicious food and the best drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Reservations

Please note that we do not accept table reservations for DECK 8.

In order to maintain our usual standard of service and manage access to the bar more effectively, we reserve the right to charge external visitors an admission fee of €5.00 per person (without seat reservation) on busy days.

Hotel guests are admitted free of charge.

You will be informed of the admission fee at the hotel entrance, where you can collect your ticket. If you require any additional information, you can contact us by phone on +49 (0) 431 37499-0. Please note that the last admission is 30 minutes before the bar closes.

Opening hours & menu

Our DECK 8 bar team welcomes you on the following days:

Monday to Thursday:
6.00 pm to 12.30 am

Friday and Saturday:
6.00 pm to 1.00 am

We are closed on Sundays.

Menus:

In our bar, we serve a selection of dishes from Tuesday to Saturday between 6.00 pm and 9.30 pm. Enjoy your dinner in a relaxed atmosphere whilst taking in the panoramic view of the Kiel Fjord.

In exceptional cases, there may be changes to our opening hours.

We kindly invite our guests to dress in a smart casual style. While we value a relaxed atmosphere, please note that DECK 8 is not a beach bar. Therefore, we ask you to refrain from wearing tracksuit bottoms, shorts, or flip-flops. Thank you for your understanding.
