ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City
The ATLANTIC Hotel Group places great emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction. Two of the company’s most discerning goals are found in continually improving these.
Sustainability and resource conservation: The ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City Bremerhaven and the ATLANTIC Hotel Wilhelmshaven were the first hotels in the group to be certified by GreenSign with the Level 4. All ecological, economic and social aspects are checked in an audit, a maximum of level 5 can be achieved.
The following sustainability services are examined in the individual core areas of the certification and evaluated accordingly:
It is planned that all ATLANTIC Hotels will be GreenSign certified by the end of 2023.

Our employees give their best every day. We therefore see it as our responsibility to create a framework through company measures and offers so that our employees can better unite their private and working lives. In February 2016, the ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City received the "AUSGEZEICHNET FAMILIENFREUNDLICH" ("EXCELLENT FAMILY FRIENDLY") award from Impulsgeber Zukunft e.V. in cooperation with the Senator for Economics, Labour and Ports and the Bremen Chamber of Commerce (CCI for Bremen and Bremerhaven) for its family-friendly HR policy.
The topics behind a family-friendly corporate culture are diverse. From flexible working hours to childcare, home office or caring for relatives to preparing for "being a parent", everything is represented and is constantly being developed in the form of target agreements with defined measures.
A family-conscious HR policy increases the satisfaction and motivation of our staff as well as the quality of the work. The positive effects are not only reflected on the business side. Rather, it creates a feel-good atmosphere that is highly appreciated by our guests.

The ATLANTIC Hotel Universum was once again audited by the DEHOGA Bremen for the recognised hotel classification according to the HOTELSTARS.EU criteria and was able to defend its 4-star classification in December 2021.
Up to 270 criteria are checked in the following segments:
In order to be classified in one of the five internationally valid categories, minimum criteria must be fulfilled and minimum scores must be achieved. As a guest, this gives you a secure and transparent overview of the services and offers that a classified accommodation facility provides. This allows you to easily and quickly compare what equipment awaits you and what you can do during your stay. (Source: DEHOGA Bundesverband)
