Due to German Unity Day on 3 October 2026, which Bremen is hosting this year, there may be restrictions on your arrival or departure by car between 27 September and 8 October 2026.

The road closures surrounding this event will extend across the entire city and will also include Martinistraße. This road will be closed to traffic from Friday 2 October to Sunday 4 October.

To minimise the disruption to you as much as possible, we ask that you plan your departure on 2 October by 10.00 am. Furthermore, we recommend using public transport for your arrival and departure around German Unity Day, as the first road closures will come into effect from Sunday 27 September 2026.
