Trainee Day 2026

More than 20 highly motivated trainees from the ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City, THE LIBERTY Hotel and the im-jaich Boardinghouse will take over the entire operation of the ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City on 12 March 2026 as part of their joint training programme.

The trainee day will officially start at 10 am in 2026 with the handover of the keys to the junior staff. They will then take full responsibility for ensuring smooth operations until the evening hours. In the run-up to the event, the trainees independently appointed team leaders for two shifts. These include Sophie and Florian, who chose the ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City as their lead company as part of a dual study programme and joint training programme and will take on the task of management.
The Eisbären Bremerhaven sponsors' evening will also take place in the foyer of the conference centre from approximately 6 pm to 10 pm. The trainees will look after the professional basketball players and their guests and provide catering. A selection of dishes created by the trainees themselves will be offered in the STROM restaurant from 5.30 pm. For the third time, Tim Oberdieck, ATLANTIC, Jenny Bergmann, im-jaich, and Christian von Rumohr, THE LIBERTY, are placing their full trust in the specialists and managers of tomorrow. The three Bremerhaven hotel managers initiated the innovative joint training programme meerzukunfthochdrei. The Trainee Day takes place once a year at one of the three partner companies and, like the joint training programme itself, helps to make training in the Bremerhaven hotel industry more attractive. At the same time, it also highlights potential career opportunities in a diverse industry.
