Sie organisiert die Feste, Partys und Veranstaltungen. Er setzt ihre Pläne in gute Laune um. Das macht sie zu perfekten Gastgebern – für alle Privat- und Firmenfeiern im ATLANTIC Grand Hotel. Um es gleich klarzustellen: Nein, Frau Schröder und Herr Cetin sind kein Paar. Obwohl ...?! So manches Paar könnte sich an ihnen ein echtes Beispiel nehmen. Die beiden arbeiten Hand in Hand, verstehen sich oft auch ohne Worte und genießen immer wieder das Kribbeln – die aufregende Anspan- nung kurz bevor die Gäste kommen, um im ATLANTIC Grand Hotel einen besonderen Tag oder Abend zu erleben. Die Berufsbezeichnungen der diplo- mierten Veranstaltungsverkaufsleiterin und des Food & Beverage Operation Managers lassen kaum vermuten, wie viel Emotion in ihrer täglichen Arbeit steckt. „Wir feiern mit jeder Veranstaltung Premiere, da hilft all unsere Erfahrung nichts“, sagt Burhan Cetin. „Egal, wie viele Hochzeiten, Geburtstage oder Firmenevents wir schon veranstaltet haben – ein gewisses Lampenfieber bleibt. Schließlich ist es für viele ein einmaliges Ereignis, das sie bei uns feiern. Da können wir nicht nur mit Routine glänzen.“ Um die Gäste im entscheidenden Moment begeistern zu können, sind tage-, oft monatelange Vorbereitungen nötig. Jede Veranstaltung folgt einer mi- nutiös festgelegten Dramaturgie. Katharina Schröder schreibt das Drehbuch dazu – natürlich nach den Wünschen des Kunden. Sie stimmt die Zimmer- reservierungen ab, das Menü oder Buffet, die Tischdeko, die Musik, eventu- elle Showeinlagen, und wenn es für ein Hochzeitspaar Rosen regnen soll, bestellt Frau Schröder gern auch einen Helikopter. „Nur das Wetter kann ich nicht organisieren“, lacht sie, „ansonsten ist fast alles möglich.“ \\\ Fortsetzung Seite 4 \\\\\\\ Katharina Schröder and Burhan Cetin love nothing more than to throw a good party. She organises the celebrations, parties and events. He puts her plans into action. This makes them the perfect hosts – for all private and corporate events at the ATLANTIC Grand Hotel. Let’s make one thing clear right away: No, Mrs Schröder and Mr Cetin are not a couple. That said, some couples could definitely take a leaf out of their book. They work hand in hand, frequently communicate without words and still get butterflies in their stomachs – the tension and excitement they feel before guests arrive to experience a special day or evening in the ATLANTIC Grand Hotel. The job titles of the Event Sales Manager and the Food and Beverage Operations Manager certainly give no hint of the emotions they experience in their everyday work. “Every event is a first for us, despite all of our experience”, said Burhan Cetin. “It doesn’t matter how many weddings, birthdays and corporate events we’ve already organised – we still get nervous. After all, each event is a one-off for many of the people attending. We can’t just fall back on routine to make a lasting impression.” Days or even months of preparation are often necessary to impress guests at the right time. Every event follows a script planned down to the finest detail. This “script” is written by Katharina Schröder – and needless to say, it is dictated by the customer’s wishes. Mrs Schröder coordinates the room reservations, the menu or buffet, the table decorations, the music, the performances if required and if a newly married couple wants it to rain roses, it’s she who organises a helicopter. “I can’t arrange the weather”, she said with a smile “but otherwise almost anything is possible.” \\\ Continued on page 4 \\\\\\\
