Bremen is worth a visit

The Hanseatic City of Bremen offers a variety of reasons to visit. Curious globetrotters will find numerous stimuli for interesting, entertaining and remarkable explorations in the smallest federal state in Germany.

Harbour, trade and business metropolis Bremen! The Hanseatic city is also the city of knowledge and, simultaneously, the cultural centre of an entire region - quite simply, a city that is right in the thick of things. It can look back at a history spanning more than 1,200 years. From the baroque and renaissance ambience of the market square, in the presence of the city hall and Roland, and right up to the patrician houses and Schütting – Bremen’s tradition-steeped chamber of commerce – you will find numerous architectural witnesses to its history.

The historic heritage is preserved in loving attention to detail: Böttcherstraße, for instance, which once used to be a street in which craftsman worked and today is the art and cultural centre as well as a highlight of European cultural history. Or the Schnoor quarter: a picturesque old city quarter, adorned and beautified, and Bremen’s most popular tourist attraction.

Bremen is worth (more than) a visit – come and convince yourself!

Nature

Unique, historic and open for all: this is Bremen’s Bürgerpark (citizens’ park). Equally, it welcomes everyone in search of rest and relaxation in nature and in the heart of the city. As one of the last virtually completely retained artistic garden creations of the 19th century, Bürgerpark is among the most significant landscape parks in Germany.

Take a break from the daily humdrum, play a game of mini golf with your family, row around in a boat with your partner, or invite your business partners to a brownbag meeting!
