How does a lie detector work? What happens in an earthquake room? How fast is my reaction time? The popular Universum® Bremen science centre has been converted and, since March 2015, displays exciting new subject fields of technology, man and nature. Here visitors can discover the secret behind the giant globe and what seahorses and tornadoes have in common. Universum® invites you to gain exceptional insights regarding scientific phenomena, and almost all of the approx. 300 stations can be touched and studied during an own discovery tour. Trial and error is what makes us wiser! The expansive outdoor area with the “Turm der Lüfte” (tower of the skies), daily science shows and popular event formats such as “Dinner in the Dark” or gripping senior citizen lectures supplement the varied offer. In addition to this, regularly changing special exhibitions are presented.
Thanks to the large number of fresh attractions, Universum® is also suited for repeated visits for those who would like to experience an eventful daytrip during every season. An absolute must to round off every visit to Bremen!
Universum® tickets can also be obtained from our reception desk!
