Ten Mercedes-Benz car models carry the “Made in Bremen” seal. Cars with the star on the bonnet have been produced in Bremen since 1978 – a total of more than eight million units. 12,700 employees ensure that more than 400,000 vehicles roll off the production line every year.

Impressive figures. They show that Bremen has a big heart for cars. Whether sporty and fast or luxurious and dignified. For example, the sporty racers SL and SLC are perennial favourites, of which more than a million have already left the production line. The Daimler plant in Bremen is at the same time the lead plant for the worldwide pro-duction of the C class. From here, all the production facilities of the C class are controlled, monitored and optimized.
