Our house not only reflects our love for northern Germany, but also blends seamlessly into what is arguably Bremen’s most maritime district. A quaint harbour, fishermen’s cottages and warehouses, shipping offices, locks and traditional vessels bear witness to a centuries-old harbour tradition to this day, whilst also offering a wide range of leisure activities. The “Maritime Mile” along the River Weser is just a five-minute walk away. Along the Weser promenade in Vegesack, there are numerous sites, squares, monuments and restaurants to discover. Vegesack’s town centre and the approximately 520-kilometre-long Weser Cycle Route are also waiting to be explored by you. We particularly recommend a visit to the “Museumshaven Vegesack”. It was opened in 1622 and is considered the oldest man-made harbour in Germany.
