GreenSign: ATLANTIC Hotels are sustainibly certified
16 properties of the brands ATLANTIC Hotels, unique by ATLANTIC Hotels and Severin*s as well as the LOUIS in Munich have received the proud GreenSign Hotel Level 4 award, achieving the second-best possible result. Sustainability and resource conservation are a core concern of the ATLANTIC Hotels Group. This is also reflected in the various initiatives of the individual hotels.
For more than 10 years, the ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City has firmly anchored the orientation "Green Sail" in its corporate philosophy.
In addition, the hotel group offers a Green Service in all its hotels. Guests can decline the daily room service and save energy and in return they receive restaurant vouchers. Furthermore, many specific measures, such as the seasonal and regional use of products in the restaurant, reduction of food waste, savings in the energy budget, e-charging stations in front of the hotels as well as bicycle rentals and the specially harvested honey round off the offer.
The group's hotels are also involved in local sports clubs and sponsor events. Because social commitment contributes to sustainable development of the hotel group just as much as responsibility towards the employees.
And all this has contributed to the GreenSign certification at Level 4.
"We see the certification as a first step to evaluate the actual state of the hotel group. Our team is already working on many other measures and standards for our hotel group. Our goal in the next step is, of course, to achieve the Level 5 award with some hotels," says Managing Director Markus Griesenbeck happily.
