In Your Room
- Switch off the lights: When leaving the room, always remove your room card from the slot.
- Unplug electronics: Unplug chargers, laptops and other devices when not in use.
- Close windows and doors: This prevents energy loss through open windows and ensures that the ventilation system works optimally.
- Use curtains: Open curtains during the day to take advantage of natural light and close them in the evening to retain heat.
Laundry & cleaning
- Reuse towels: Please only place your towels on the floor if you would like new ones – this saves water and energy.
- Reduce room cleaning: Opt out of daily cleaning if it is not necessary. As compensation, we offer you a voucher worth €5.00 for our restaurant.

Electric charging stations – Our hotel's underground car park has eight Wattif wall boxes available for charging electric cars for a fee. The wall boxes have a Type 2 connection, and a suitable cable is provided.

Future-oriented employee programmes – every team member has the opportunity to participate in up to two professional development courses per year.
Green Service – To protect the environment, we would be delighted if our guests would refrain from requesting room cleaning.
Heating – our modern ventilation system with heat recovery provides a constant supply of fresh air without any energy loss.

Minibar – since April 2025, the minibars in the rooms have been cleared out and a larger shop has been set up at reception.

Optimal use of daylight – our floor-to-ceiling windows are designed to maximise the amount of daylight entering the room, thereby saving energy.

Regional items – on the breakfast buffet, for example, Heidelberg honey or bakery items.
Responsibility – we take responsibility for all our actions: socially, ecologically and economically.
Soap dispensers – large soap dispensers in hotel rooms instead of individually wrapped soap bars.
