From Glücksburg to Glückstadt, from Heide to Hasselburg and right up to Hamburg; from Sønderborg to Schenefeld: the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival is one of the largest surface festivals on earth. Not only does it cover the almost 16,000 square kilometres of Schleswig-Holstein, but also Hamburg, the south of Denmark and the north of Lower Saxony. Be it splendid mansions, thatched barns, historical cowsheds and horse stables, chic manors, picturesque churches, enchanted castle parks or industrial plant premises - no matter how remote, the Schleswig-Holstein music festival transforms every corner into an international concert stage.
The programme for 2017 will be published in February 2017.
